About the deck

The deck shows which stretch of the path a person is on and where that path leads.

The deck holds 80 metaphorical associative cards describing the cycles and stages of life, and the stretches of the path toward a particular goal.

The cards are split into four groups by element and numbered from one to ten. The element shows which energy is uppermost: fire is desire, air is thought, water is feeling, earth is action. The number shows how much of the path has been covered and how much is left until the cycle closes.

Each card has two forms, positive and negative, which lets you see not only the stage but the quality of how it is being lived through.

The descriptions rest on the classic readings of the numbered cards but were deliberately freed of esoteric language, so that the tool suits psychology, coaching, business training and work with clients for whom talk of energies is unfamiliar.

At the end of each card there is a recommendation on how best to act at this stage.
