About the deck

A deck about the road: the one a person is walking now and the one they ought to be walking.

The deck holds 128 metaphorical associative cards with images of roads, bridges, stairways, cliffs, signs, dead ends, labyrinths and symbols of the way.

Some cards are resourcing and inspiring, others uneasy and unpleasant. From such a set you can pick an image of the path to any goal, or an image of the path of life in a particular period.

Cards are drawn face-up, when a person chooses for themselves how they see their path, and face-down, when a prompt is needed from beneath awareness about how things actually stand.

The main value of the deck is that the path becomes visible: a person stops moving blind and starts choosing the route deliberately.

The deck is intended for coaches, consultants, facilitators, transformation game facilitators and psychologists.

With the “Paths to the Goal” deck you can

• see what the present path to the goal looks like
• understand what is worth adjusting on that path
• determine what you like and dislike about this route
• understand why exactly this path was built
• choose a path you genuinely want to walk
• build the milestones of the route you want
• notice a dead end before you run into it
• see the ways around if the direct path is shut
• understand where on the path you need other people’s help
• assess whether the present road leads where you need to go

Work starts from these questions. Choose one, the one that speaks to you more strongly than the rest, and work with it, because only one path is taken apart well in a single session.

11. Where do I take a detour although there is a direct road?
12. What will tell me the path is the right one?
