About the deck

A deck about what a child feels while they still have no names for their states.

The deck holds 80 metaphorical associative cards with the most common children’s feelings: 40 pleasant and 40 heavy.

The main task of the deck is to help a child understand what brings good feelings and what brings heavy ones, to teach them to recognize their reactions, to give feelings a place, and to learn to manage them without wrecking anything.

A feeling that has been named almost always grows weaker. That is exactly why the deck works so well with children: it gives words where before there were only tears, shouting or silence.

The deck also suits work with grown-ups on the inner child, especially those who as children were forbidden to be angry, afraid or sad.

The deck can be used as a diagnostic, clarifying, deepening, resourcing and supporting tool in counseling, therapy and psychological transformation games. It works within the “Children's World” series, on its own, and as a deepening tool in the game of the same name.

With the “Children's Feelings” deck you can
